Unfortunately my last run till Saturday at which point I will be so far out of the loop it will be ridiculous!

Actually I think I was being a bit of a pussy! You could get a bus through some of the space I left avoiding them . Anything with an angle on I don't want to be near, flat ones aren't a problem!

I've just figured out I can use a chunk of curb on turn 1, but so far it isn't as quick...

First couple of laps I'm thinking how the hell am I gonna get this thing round a lap without crashing but after 10 laps or so I was absolutely loving it and was even brave enough to turn TC off. Unfortunately you can't adjust ABS on the xbox, these wheel presets really are a joke tbh.

Great car and great track, I much prefer it to the F1 layout.

One thing I'm noticing is instability as I turn in. I have to make a correction and then can't make the corner. Anyone got any advice on what to touch to sort this out? Cheers

 

Please dont mention buses, i drive them for a living hence why im so bloody slow haha

 

Same prob, i maxed the rear aero and used less negative rear camber which has helped keep the rear a bit more stable but still needs a lot more work

Okee dokee. I'm getting a little faster. I'm gonna yoink originalR6kid's setup and see what I can squeeze out of this wild little pony.
I'm still oversteering on exit and I know I should ease up on the throttle, but that pesky ghost keeps slipping past.
Got some time today, so let's see what transpires

Tuesday is usually busy and today was no exception, plenty of improvements and a fair few new entries. A bit of a battle for the lead, it changed hands 4 times I think. Some crazy old fool is setting the pace...Don't worry it won't be for long!

Left wondering when the invasion from outer space will occur...

Which corners? What are you actually doing? Are you still braking and turning at the same time, are you coasting, do you have any throttle applied, have you just released the brake, are you going too fast?

Try reducing the rake angle of the car (lower rear), maybe more front ARB or you could try a damper adjustment, increase front bump or possibly rear rebound...

 

Ok, not trying to spam the thread, but I just ran a low 1:50 thanks to originalR6kid's setup. That's pretty kewl. Not gonna post a pic since it doesn't change my position on the leaderboard as it stands.
But, wow, the car is much more stable and feels faster.

Bah! Very hard to say but I don't think any of the proper fast console racers are playing this game, I know in Project Cars I was around 1.5 to 2 seconds off the pace on an F1 circuit with a GT car...That may change when we get more control over the online side of the game (the fast guys turning up I mean).

My first go at it. This car has a little for everyone. A bunch of understeer, check. Snap oversteer, check. Lightly touch a kerb and go spinning off towards Portugal, check.

I did learn one thing about this car and that is I was faster trusting the car's shift lights instead of waiting until the onscreen gear indicator started to change color. Don't know why that would be but I kept thinking that the car didn't seem to be winding out enough but when I did, it got slower.

Found a little more time from blipping the throttle into the tighter turns.

 

This car has the same problem as the 458 GT2 -- the rev limiter is far beyond the power peak for no apparent reason. The actual power peak is at something like 6400rpm and the curve falls pretty quickly from there.

 

Past experience tells me your nowhere near that far off the pace!
