1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

Yea it seems very boring in feel, but you can throw it into corners and really get on the gas on corner exit and it just grips while being so stable. Love seeing it leave black lines on corner exit on the replays when you exit.

  2. My early impressions are that the 370Z is one of the best feeling and sounding cars in Assetto Corsa.

Boring isn't the right word I guess. I mean it doesn't have the character of some of the 90's JDM cars in the pack. :)

Haven't driven anything other than the 370Z (but about to jump into the MX5), and as a 370Z owner myself, I am ....

    ... happy as a fluffy bunny. :D

    sounds like...
    looks like...

    my IRL car.

Only difference is I need a custom platinum graphite livery... ;)

Probably all of them, really tremendous fun to drive and so different from each other... Plus each one is as iconic as the other :) It's my favourite Dream Pack since DP1 with the Nords and P1/F1/Alfa 4c in it :)

Not driven all of them but so far, loving the 370z. Disappointed in the MX5 Cup though. Seems slow and a bit flat.

Had a few races last nite on one of my pub servers, wasnt a huge turnout but overall some solid racing with the 370, GTR and rx7 being a pretty close match. The Supra was about 1 second off the pace for me and nobody really quite matched the lead times in that.

This race was the most fun with a great battle with Cherno and Paul with only 1 tiny contact with Paul in some very close racing. We let the leader get away as we were too busy fighting but it was more fun then every race I won so he got the raw end of the deal being out front I think. ;)

Its funny, I was in a public server this morning and the only car available was the 370.. I never really had any interest in that car but I was surprised how good it felt. So far its my favorite in the dlc... I haven't driven them all yet though.

  14. I really don't understand why this affects some people. To put it into context, I only noticed this morning that the Japanese Pack has a mixture of LHD and RHD cars, and that's after having driven them all since Wednesday evening. That's how little it matters to me.

I think the problem with the MX5 Cup (if you can call it that) is that it uses very grippy hard slick tyres. That makes it feel less lively than the other cars. In fact, it feels quite a lot like a slower version of the BMW M235i R, which makes sense.

well how can you not see it right away if you play in cockpit mode.

It doesnt really make much difference and is far from being as awkward as actually switching from one to the other in real cars. There you have the shifter on the other side, indicators and plus you drive on the opposite side of the road.

In a sim you just need to adjust to the fact your sitting on the other side and even though I drive RHD every day in game it was mostly LHD so I was more likely to not use all the road on the right and too much on the left. Get in figure out which your in and simply adjust to it, its not that hard really.

The MX5 cup if its not lively your not pushing hard enough, it has that real snappy slick feel to it on the limit. The car is underpowered and over tyred plus being very light it feels more like an open wheel car, it can brake so quick that its very tricky to go down gears as you stop. Tracks like Nurburgring t1 you can brake from full speed at around the 50m mark which is fairly nuts and timing this plus shifting and getting the turn in makes it fairly tricky. Then get high speed corners and if the rear end gets away from you catching it is not easy and you more likely to get a tankslapper in this then any other car assuming your somewhere near its limit.

we tried that yesterday at Mugello, Escort seemed much too quick for the little Toyota

  18. I was just talking in terms of overall feel. I have certainly been to the "snappy rear end" limit in it, so I am aware that it can bite my *** when pushed :D

The car will feel very planted as it has way more in it then you will think, my first run in it I was taking huge chunks off each lap just adjusting to the speed it can carry into corners and how late it can brake. But once you start to get close to its limits its quite slippery in the rear, if your not getting this your likely just not pushing hard enough yet even if you think its not possible to ask more from the car it keeps on giving. Then it will let you know when you have overdone its limits pretty quickly and you need to then get as close to that as you can dare, react very quick if you overdo it. I think its probably the snappiest car in AC by quite a margin, no idea about the real series if this is accurate or not however and would just assume it should be unless someone can prove otherwise.
