1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    Yeah I'll have to get it set up again. Don't have a lot of time lately but will set the server up and you guy's can create events.

    Is there still interest in a public server? I kept the other ones up for a while after they added the free join mode but kept them in booking mode since free join servers can only run one map and they died.

    Ok--Setup suggestions:

    Private server:

    Booking mode (6 mins booking time)
    18 minutes qualifying
    8 lap races
    All tracks
    Restart at 7PM GMT each day
    Most cars (give me the ones that you definitely want, as they cant all be included)
    Fast car update rate (every 16ms instead of 50ms)
    Events via the steamgroup--sometimes by you guys and sometimes by me
    Teamspeak
    Variable track grip at beginning (95% +/- 5%)
    Realism set to maximum (Fuel, Damage and Tyre wear set to 100%, ABS, TC and stability control set to factory and autoclutch allowed (just incase people dont have a clutch) :)
    Anything else?

    Public server(s):

    Suggestions please :)

    How about "Green" track surface? Every server runs with 100% grip.
    Edit: Now I see "variable track grip at the beginning" line.

    For cars I'm good with anything, but I'll name a few:
    Cobra, F40, KTM, E30 Gr. A/DTM, E92, Formula Abarth, Zonda, GT3's, GT2's, MP4-12C, 458, LaFerrari... I think I should stop before I'll make a complete AC cars list.

    Shall we start tonight?

    And for the people who is moderator in the Steam group, a few of them rarely drive with the group? If we get better at using the Event thingy more people would be aware of races and join in.

    How about setting the server to start at 8PM GMT tonight / 9 European time?

    Then after tonight can go back to the 7Pm time.

    Assuming my internet doesnt crap out.

    Added the following rules to the steamgroup for new players:

    Rules are simple:

    1. Use the agreed cars.
    2. Don't ram.
    3. Don't cut corners excessively.
    4. If you knock someone off the track then stop and give their position back.
    5. Have fun :)
