1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    The Audi feels far more balanced and more controled, however it is considerably slower.Those gear ratios help a bit, but the weight is dragging it down a lot.Although I do think the difference shouldn't be that big, the Gallardo doesn't feel lighter in the corners, and it feels too RWD-biased, I suspect a fix might be coming soon.

    Strangely enough, the Gallardo feels heavier and softer to me but it should be the other way 'round. But then again, the lap times speak for themselves - if you take my 2 laps it's just a 2.8 % difference and being on the Nordschleife it makes sense (speed). If you put the two of them on a twisty track like Brands Hatch the Audi might get very close to Gallardo times.

    Ofc I understand why you're overdoing it that much, but this shouldn't be confused with a "how to race" tutorial :D

    Got pretty much the same lap time difference (11s for me) between the two VW Lambo and Audi, as you @LeDude83 . I even tried the R8 again after 1.4 was released (previous time was done in 1.3.x) because I wanted to check if it got any faster, nope.
    I still think they aren't as understeery as I would expect from the AWD car, especially Audi, since it's their trademark. ;)

    Yes, even though the Gallardo felt like a brick @ Vallelunga Club, it was still pulling times that were more than a match for the other supercars in AC.

    Brands Hatch is fantastic! I've been waiting for this track since I got AC, and it doesn't disappoint, one of my favourites :)

    Cars are great too, though I personally don't care much for the Lamborghini's.

    I love the Ford, but maybe listening to this will help improving the sound in a future update:


    The Abarth is great too, hopefully we'll get the 695 soon, that would be more competitive vs the Ford Escort (500 is just a little under-powered and a bit alone in its category for now).

    Overall, a lot of fun!

    My feelings on the new content pack...

    - Credit where credit is due, the AMG GT GT3 sounds are pretty spot on. I have been fairly vocal in the past about some of the audio not being quite as good as perhaps it could be, but I think the AMG sounds pretty bang on, so kudos for that.
    - Brands Hatch model looks spot on, good work. I have visited the track many times so to see things like the entrance and the various cafe's modeled too was quite fun.
    - Brands Hatch texturing? Not quite so great (in my opinion). I thought the recent tracks like Zandvoort and Barcelona looked a lot better in terms of texturing, but in my view, Brands Hatch is a step backwards. Mainly the trees don't look quite as good and the grass I think doesn't look as could as it could.
    - I love the external sounds of the Escort. The internal sounds are ok.
    - The Escort drives really nice, really satisfying and challenging.
    - The Lotus 25 is again, challenging to drive, nice model too.

    Can't think of much more at the moment, overall an impressive pack.

    About DLC, I really was not that excited for more Lotus cars, but the Type 25 and the 72D gave sooo much fun to the simulator.

    As usual I haven't put as much time as I wanted to yet but the driving just feels so damn good. I did run into some weird issues with the net code yesterday when I raced online. The more I raced on brands hatch the more I loved it! The amg gt wasn't really all that fun to me on stock setup. Felt very tight and not much room to play with. Sounds are nice but I have to put much more time in it before I say I hate it.

    I had high hopes for it because the SLS was my favorite GT3 car. It sounds awesome - which was a major attraction to the SLS as well - but after trying to find a setup for it for hours this weekend, I jumped into the 650S GT3, and realized I just find that car a lot more enjoyable to drive, and decided this will be my next GT3 car (even if it sounds like a sewing machine...).

    I only briefly tried the 650s and first impression was it will take some getting used to. I absolutely loved the 12c gt3, it was hands down my favorite car.

    458 and mp4-12c also can get in the 1:52', but you need to be a top level Alien to achieve that.

    I don't think I ever sniffed at that time in the 458. Think I was at best in the 54s haven't given that combo a go in forever.

    It feels unnaturally fast imho, at least in a straight line, it should be fast, but at most as fast as the 458, no way is it faster in a straight line than a MP4-12C in real life.The cornering is a bit of a let down, but not that bad, in my opinion it should be stiffer and more agressive as far as cornering goes, and a bit less powerful in a straight line.Also, quoted weight is in the low 1300 kg's, I don't think it is as light as an MP4-12C :).
